guys welcome to the easy t-shirt design workshop so in this workshop I'm going to show you how you can create graphics or designs really easy and simple online and

clip those designs on a t-shirt that you can either create for your own personal use or wear or you can create to sell on your website or online so

the first step in betray nning is actually creating your design

you don't want to select anything that's light or really thin because they may not show up well in your finish design so I'm just going to select the

Oswald text and I'm going to go in and kind of make it a larger font and I kind of already have a shirt made this is don't quit your

day dream and I'm just going to type in so just like you would type in like a normal word processor you just type your text so another thing you

can do is hover over the text and your mouse is going to change into kind of like that crossbow looking Mouse and you can hold down and move move

your text around so as you can see you'll see these dotted lines and that's kind of like helping me or giving me a guy to know when my text

is like aligned or centered so I want to make sure it's centered and another thing I'm going to go ahead and do is change the spacing so I'm going

to increase the line height so that each word is kind of further apart and you can just play around with this whatever you think looks good I think that

looks pretty good and I'm just going to realign so another thing I'm going to do is add kind of like a rectangular shape behind this portion of the text

so I'm going to go over here to elements and select shapes and one of the first shapes they'll give you is a square now as you'll notice when I

click the square it automatically find the color and that's because I actually use canva for work and that kind of gives you a little more like features and one

of those features is you can automatically plug in what your brand colors are and this is one of the colors of my new brand which is why it

I'm going to actually show you how you can use print folds mock-up generator to actually put your design from canva onto a I guess you can say like a

picture or markup of a shirt but you can position it play around with how you want it to look and actually generate those plant files so you can either

order your shirt or add it to your printful store so the first thing you want to do is of course create your personal account and log in I don't

believe you actually have to be logged and to use a mock-up generator so once you get to principal you'll see on the navigation menus they have a selection that

says mock-up generator and then they'll show you all of the different types of products you can actually print things on so as you can see there's way more than

just shirts you can do wall art hat coffee mugs pillows leggins all of that so for the purposes of this tutorial we're just going to select shirts and here

you have an option to select the size or types of shirts it's broken down counted by gender or size so you'll see there's men slash unisex shirts women using

kids and you can even make shirts or onesies for a baby so for this tutorial I'm going to select a women's shirts and I've had a lot of success

with the Gildan brand of shirts they're one of the cheaper shirts as far as cost on principle but they do have other brands like Bella American Apparel and you'll

see the prices so you know if you're big on quality you might want to print on you know a higher price or higher quality shirt but just for this

tutorial we're going to select the built in shirts so once you've selected your shirt it'll give you kind of like a blank canvas so you'll see here a blank

white shirt and that's what we're going to start with as far as our mark muck-up so in the first step you've created your file in canva or your graphic

in Kansas saved it to your desktop or wherever so at this point we're going to actually upload that file that transparent file that we created and place it on

this shirt so I'm going to go ahead and go to upload and principal does have like a disclaimer that you have to agree to which is basically saying that

you have the rights to reproduce that design so I'm just going to check that box and say accept and I'm going to find my pretzel shirt on my desktop

so this is the design that I'm not going to do black because the words aren't going to show up so play around with the colors here and once you've

decided your shirt you can actually use these options to move your shirt around so let's say I had it like this if you want to align or position Center

your shirt you can actually select these buttons and it will automatically adjust for you another thing you can adjust is the print quality here which actually affects the size
